Fireboat 2, the Warner L. Lawrence "is one of the largest and most technologically advanced fireboats in the world."  That front nozzle or "monitor" can shoot out 11,000 gallons of water per minute; overall the ship can pump out 38,000 gallons per minute. (1, 2)

The ship entering port proves to be the M.O.L. Innovation, a container ship built in 1996 in Japan.

The S.S. Lane Victory, a victory ship built in 1945, is restored and open for tours ($5 per adult).  It is located at Berth 49, San Pedro. >
