Sunday Morning Trip on Bus 18 to Harington Point and Back                                            

Really quiet.  Only afterwards, looking through the photos did I spot a couple of birds that were diving for fish out on the water.
During a brief stop near the Wellers Rock Wharf waiting for the bus, I saw this seaweed.  It turns out it is the invasive Undaria pinnatifida, identifiable by the underwater frilly part (sporophyll).  According to the DOC Undaria is "often called 'the gorse of the sea.'"
