Tomahawk Beach and Smaills Beach                                                                                    

28 February - I found another low tide during a late afternoon/early evening trip to Tomahawk Beach and was able to walk right through to the end of Smaills Beach.  A few surfers were out and several bathers ventured into the water in addition to people walking the beach.  On the way back the calm was disrupted when a dog attacked a sea lion, while its owner made ineffectual efforts to stop it; fortunately the sea lion was able to fend off the dog and made it back to the sea.  I also had a frame size issue with my camera which I was unable to resolve.
