Tunnel Views
Highway 41 leads north from Oakhurst to the South Entrance to Yosemite National Park.  Following the road past the Mariposa Grove and Wawona, one arrives at the Wawona Tunnel, "the longest highway tunnel in the state of California" at 4,233 feet (>).  Tunnel View provides a spectacular view toward the east including El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, the Cathedral Rocks, Half Dome and Clouds Rest.
